Kiribati competes in the associate-member qualifying pathway alongside the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau and Tuvalu.
Multi-sport regional event held every four years. Both football and futsal squads represent Team Kiribati.
KIFF has been a CONIFA member since 2016 and competes in the Asia–Oceania regional cup alongside other associate FIFA members.
